The person I interviewed with is a senior at Amazon for over 10 years. He has a friendly demeanor and always smiles.
He didn’t introduce himself but asked me about my favorite project. After that, he asked a common follow-up question about my involvement in the project.
Then, he moved on to the technical questions. The first one was about DOM traversal, which I quickly completed. The second one was to design a chat record UI, focusing on the basic interface. He said he was done with his questions, and when I checked the time, it had only been 38 minutes. I asked him a few questions before it ended.
I felt uncertain after the interview because it was short. However, in the afternoon, I received news that I could proceed to the onsite interview, which felt magical.
