Coinbase seems to be freezing recently, but the interviews are still proceeding as usual, although the overall process is a bit slow.
In the first round of the frontend interview, there was only one question for one hour. Unlike other interview experiences, I was required to create a search page where upon entering a keyword, the API would provide some currency information (such as name, price change percentage, etc.). Then, I had to display it on the page according to the mockup.
The interviewer would give instructions step by step, starting from functionality, layout, to animation.
Finally, we discussed areas that could be optimized, such as performance.
I didn’t feel very good about the interview. Although the question was not difficult, I was not well-prepared and felt a bit stuck. That’s about it. I’m new to the forum, seeking advice! Thank you!
