First round of phone interview: LeetCode, focusing on algorithms.
Second round of phone interview: Since it was a frontend position, got asked a JavaScript question about how to move a component 100 pixels to the right. I couldn’t solve this question and failed.
Blaming myself for lacking basic frontend knowledge and being weak in JS, I didn’t meet the required standard. Hoping to prepare thoroughly this fall.
Decided not to pursue the frontend path anymore, will focus on backend instead. Realized I couldn’t answer frontend questions, my knowledge is weak as I only took a few Udemy courses. Failed easily in the interview.
Typed all of this manually!!! Can’t read many interview experiences on Glassdoor, please kindly give me feedback,
