The interview was on Thursday, and on Friday night, I received an email saying I passed the initial round and was given a senior position, which made me very happy.
The system design question was about designing a chat system for families. I think the focus should be on family-oriented features since everyone knows how a chat system works.
The coding question was quite simple, similar to a question found on GeLe. It involved arranging collection tags where each line had character numbers, and the task was to determine if each collection name could fit on a line. I remember someone on GeLe sharing the original question and answer, so it’s easy to find.
For the front-end portion, it was also a question from GeLe. I had to implement a comment feature similar to Instagram. I spent some time on the CSS part, but it’s important to first ensure the functionality works before styling with CSS.
Lastly, there was an experience dive deep section.
