Skip the HR screen and go straight to the hiring manager’s interview for the frontend engineer position at Everyday Robots. The interview lasts for one hour:
-
20 minutes: Introduction to the project, self-introduction, discussing previous project challenges, similar to small behavioral questions.
-
20 minutes: Coding exercise, required to use TypeScript.
-
15 minutes: Continued conversation, asking questions.
Received rejection email the next day, mismatch in technical background. The interview experience was positive, but overall, it can only be rated as neutral. If our backgrounds don’t align, there’s no point in wasting my time.
