2 parts: Technical and System Design
- Implement a function to track and rank the position of a team based on their performance in the games of the season (was mostly a js array manipulation style question – very easy)
- Design a system to track users, their teams and a way to notify them of events relating to their teams. (Also very easy, mostly leading questions around db design, how I would structure things and mostly pseudocode)
I spent a long time preparing but the interviews went really well. My final round the interviewer hung out for an extra half an hour as we were having an interesting and fun discussion about the architecture within the company and state of the industry. Very poisitive experience.
Unfortunately they kept me hanging for a month and then did not give me offer (though I believe this is because my asking salary was 20% above their higher range – but who knows, maybe I bombed it LOL)
