Interview Frontend Experience @ LinkedIn

The interviewer provided good guidance, and the communication was smooth. It felt like a company with a great atmosphere.

  1. They showed a code snippet and asked to explain what would be printed, likely testing fundamental knowledge of JS such as prototype, new, and the usage of this keyword.
  2. Talked about how to achieve accessibility in everyday situations.
  3. UI coding task (without CSS, no need to run, use vanillaJS directly). It’s not difficult - display the contents of an array provided in a specific format on a webpage. Follow-up question was how to handle a large list, probably focusing on implementing pagination. Overall, the interviewer would interject to probe your thought process with some minor questions to ensure a good understanding of basic concepts. In general, having a strong foundation and being proficient at work is essential, no need to grind LeetCode, just get a good night’s sleep to stay sharp.
