Microsoft Frontend Interview Experience

Before the interview, I didn’t know what to prepare or who to interview with as the recruiters never responded. This was under the organization of WebXT in Canada.

#1: Number of islands (modified #200), system design Messenger
#2: Collect rainwater #42, remove duplicate letters #316
#3: API response design for election, follow-up parsing/design issues
EM: Asked how to design the election UI of the website, on-site coding, along with soft questions
Received a verbal offer after 3 weeks. Then, the background check at Microsoft had many errors, taking about 6 weeks before finally joining.
The recruiters were very rude, unwilling to negotiate, and immediately hung up the phone. I directly followed up with the manager for negotiations.
Even though I received an offer from Meta, the Microsoft offer was downgraded. In the end, I chose Microsoft because of WLB, which was a huge mistake that I will regret forever.
After joining, I found all these were warning signs, with more problems.

The next day, the work manager contacted me to inform that I was assigned to another new team. The first week, I had issues logging in.
Later, I found out that the workers of this organization were all fired a few months ago, and everyone was new.

=============================
After sorting out my schedule in the next two weeks, I will write another article to discuss this experience, which was really bad. Especially dealing with a toxic and abusive manager.
If anyone is considering joining WebXT, I suggest you stay far away.
